Rapid changes in the field of education both at a level of theoretical exploration, as much as at a level of implementing novel teaching methods in the classroom, have led our school, even since the 60s, to develop educational relationships with schools in other countries. Our academic programme is enriched through the implementation of teacher training programmes aimed at the mutual exchange of educational experiences.  In the 60s and 70s, excellent relations were developed with the Ipswich College, the Edward School and the Bath High School in Britain.

Since the 1980s, the process has taken the form of "twinning" with schools of other countries. More specifically, twinning with historical Hellenic schools like the Αthonite Academy, the Phanar Greek Orthodox College and the Ambetios School in Cairo has opened up a new prospect of cooperation with strong cultural and ethnic characteristics.
